Tips from a 30-year veteran art teacher

You stand at the front of the class.

The very first thing you say is, “Everyone put your hand out like this.” And then you stick your hand out in front of you with the palm flat. It should look like so:

Then you zip around the room and give everyone a high five.

It really gets the energy up.
